Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim

Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim

All power is from Allah Almighty, and we must always ask for His support, because we are in need, we are weak ones. Allah Almighty ordered His Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to inform his Ummah that anything that is not begun with His Holy Name : “Bismilla hir Rahman ir Rahim”, will never be supported by Allah; it means it will never give fruit, and it must fail. If you say Allah’s Holy Name, you will take benefit from that action, and any harm that may be in it will leave you. Whoever is feeling weak should say it, and power will come to his physical body and to his heart.

The Bismillah is the most important key for opening all treasures in the Heavens and on earth, and for opening all forms of knowledge. Allah Almighty has put three thousand of His Holy Names in it: 1000 Names that are known only to the Angels, 1000 Names known by the Prophets, 999 Names contained in the 4 Holy Books, and His Greatest Name. All of these Names are contained in the Bismillah.

Whoever is able to reach to the secret power of the Bismillah should be dressed in miraculous powers. We, as servants of Allah, should say it at least 100 times daily. If a person continues for 40 days, he should find some power, some changes in himself, especially if he says it one thousand times between Fajr and sunrise. From unseen worlds, from Malakut beautiful views will appear to him. According to the thickness of the veils of his heart, from 1x 40 days, up to 7x 40 days, there should be an opening. If not, it means that his heart is too occupied with Dunya, and he should try to put Dunya last, and then try again. It is a rule which can’t be wrong. Even in one day it may be opened, because it is so powerful.

Every time you say: “Bismilla hir Rahman ir Rahim”, it means that you are remembering the Lord: “Oh My Lord, I am remembering You!” And then Allah says: “Oh My servant, I am remembering you!” Don’t forget! If you forget, you will be forgotten.

Sultan ul Awliya

After Eid

Sultan ul-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Al-Haqqani An-Naqshibandi (qs), Sohbat – 8th August, 2013.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim

It is the second day of the Ramadan Eid. May our eid be blessed, may it be honoured. On each Eid, a dress of honour is dressed on people.

Let us listen to what kind of a statement Shah Mardan will make to his yaran. It is only a few words but what can we do? It is not from us but may we learn some adab from the holy ones. Welcome to you, you came with goodness. May we stay in goodness and leave in goodness. Go ahead O Shah Mardan, your yaran are your admirers. Dastur Ya Sahiba-l Imdad- the imdad/help of Shah Mardan reaches from the East to the West. What we will listen to here are something from the jewels holy Shah Mardan will grant us – let us listen to it. Let us learn something that gives us benefit. May our day not be spent in vain. May we learn something, which will save us from this prison of dunya and bring us near to the people who carry qudsiyya/holiness – near to the people who are like Shah Mardan and carry holiness. “Al-mar’u ma’a man ahabb.”

O our Lord, grant us a power… It is not right to say this directly to Allah Almighty. There are the holy ones who can give imdad- here he is, Shah Mardan. It is not for us to address Allah directly. It is not for us. Everyone should know his level. Marhaba Shaykh Mehmet Effendi. Marhaba, our grandson. Every person should know his situation/capacity. And what will we gain by knowing? Go ahead O Shah Mardan, what will we get? We will attain to the Ilahi Lutf/Divine Grants. Through whom? Through HabibuLlah. And how can you find a way to reach him? You find it through the holy ones like Shah Mardan. Look for them! Dastur Ya RijalAllah. Dastur Ya Shah Mardan. We are – “Wa Khuliqa l-‘Insanu Da`ifaan” (4:28)- created weak, Haji, meaning our power is according to our capacity. An ant too has a power. It is not expected to do anything beyond it. Along with this, that little ant picks and carries a little piece of food in its mouth. It does a duty, does a service. Just like this, us. The children of Adam – are mukallaf – responsible for an Order. Who is not obliged to keep the order is in the animal category. We are obliged to keep the Order. Therefore we should strictly & carefully know that Order.

And let us hear them from you- O Shah Mardan, your yaran admire you. How beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful. O Lord, You dressed on us beauty, not ugliness. Allahu Akbar! He (swt) created Man beautiful. Shaytan got jealous of it, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi. When shaytan saw that beauty in Prophet Adam, it got jealous & said “No, this is suitable for me”. Your Creator is Who knows what is suitable or not suitable for you. It says “No. This beauty, this Sultanate should be given to me”. Ya Rabbi, we don’t have any claim for sultanate. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. We have no claim to sultanate. The crown of sultanate was dressed along with the Caliphate but this is not our claim. “Wa ‘Idh Qala Rabbuka Lil-Mala’ikati ‘Inni Ja’ilun Fii l-‘Ardi Khalifa” (2:30) Allahu Akbar wa A’zam Allahu Akbar. O our Lord, forgive us. We should know ourselves. Who doesn’t know himself is an animal. Know yourself. Know your attribute. Know what you should do. Know what you should accomplish too. This is an important matter. Ok, he said about this matter-

Shah Mardan Hz says: “O my yaran, let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim”. Without saying Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim these doors don’t open. Allahu Akbar. The key to any door is Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. O our Lord, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim- may we also say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim from this holy language of Shah Mardan. But we can’t say as he says it. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. It descended on Prophet Adam once. It descended on Prophet Noah once. How many times it descended on Ibrahim (as)- Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. It descended & again was raised – the Bismillah. It made a service- saved Prophet Abraham from the fire of Nimrod. Noah recited the Bismillah & it saved him from the flood. It saved from the fire of Nimrod. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Huuu.

“‘Innahu Min Sulaymana Wa ‘Innahu Bismi Llahi r-Rahmani r-Rahimi” (27:30). The dress of azamat/greatness in which Prophet Solomon dressed, no other Prophet dressed in, our son Shaykh Mehmet Effendi. He would rule over the Men & Jinn with the Bismillah. Yes. When that holy letter went to the Queen of Sheba, the throne of the Queen of Sheba shook! Why? In the letter, “‘Innahu Min Sulaymana Wa ‘Innahu Bismi Llahi r-Rahmani r-Rahimi”. Her throne, her crown got destroyed & she, herself fell down to sajda. O People of the Book- who believe in the Bible, who believe in the Torah- are these stories not written in your Books? Yes, Prophet Solomon- that you call him “King Solomon”, King Solomon, Sulaiman, Sultan Sulaiman- the beloved servant of Allah who more than the other Prophets held the zahiri/external power & ruled over Men & Jinn. They make us say it (this Verse) over & over so that the barakah comes on us too. “‘Innahu Min Sulaymana”- this holy letter came from Prophet Solomon. “Wa ‘Innahu Bismi Llahi r-Rahmani r-Rahimi”. “Wa ‘Innahu Bismi Llahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim”. Prophet Solomon was dressed with the dress of azamat and the sultanate, which the Queen of Sheba claimed, fell to the ground, nothing remained of it. Allah Almighty granted it to the servants of the nation of Muhammad (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam).

“‘Innahu Min Sulaymana Wa ‘Innahu Bismi Llahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim”. He (swt) granted it to us. He (Solomon) used it once and it was enough for him. He (swt) permitted us to say it all our life for the honour of His Habib (sas). “Iqra’ Bismi Rabbika Lladhi Khalaqa” (96:1) Read with the Bismillah. “Iqra’ Bismi Rabbika Lladhi Khalaqa” (96:1) Read with saying the Majestic Name of the Creator. “Read!” “What should I read?” He (swt) said “Read! Read O My Beloved”. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. So in assemblies like this we attribute it to Shah Mardan. We say “We also need an adab in this life. What should be our adab?”

What is our job in dunya? To eat, drink & then to fill the toilet? What is this? Is this our job in dunya? Say O people of the Book! Let their Pope say it. Let their Rabbis say it. Is our job in dunya to eat, drink & fill the toilet? Say the truth! Is that it? Did Allah create you for this? A’udhu biLlah, a’udhu biLlah. “Wa Ma Khalaqtu l-Jinna Wa l-‘Insa ‘Illa Li ya’buduni”(51:56). I created Men & Jinn only to worship Me. How do you attain to the level of servanthood? Shaykh Mehmet Effendi, it can be reached through the rank of knowledge given to the people. Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar wa Lillahi l-Hamd. Say O scholars of Islam! Why don’t you say this to the Muslims who are wandering in the streets? Why don’t you say it, O who say “I believe in Torah”? Did Prophet Moses make weapons, cannons against Pharaoh? Why should he have needed any weapons? Prophet Moses was dressed from the azamat of the Bismillah, for this Pharaoh got destroyed along with his throne.

Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim and all your difficulties open up, O children of Adam. Don’t fear from each other, fear from Who created you. He is the Allahu Dhu-l Jalal. If He (swt) gives permission one of you can strike & finish all of you. Azamat! Allah is Who dresses the children of Adam in the dress of azamat. There are some who wear it & some who don’t. The ones dressed with it are unknown. The ones who are not are in the streets.

“‘Illa Li ya’buduni”(51:56). I created them so that they worship Me. You are not created to search for gold, silver on earth; not for claiming wealth, nor for killing, destroying, burning each other. Shame on the Book-given people that they are not saying this and very few from the people of Islam say it either. “I created the people & may there be Sultan for them”. One can’t fight against a Sultan. Can he? How can you fight against the Sultan? You are an ordinary person. You don’t have much of a specialty. How can you fight against a Sultan at whose door you stand? What does it mean? Man is Man with his respect. Who has no respect has no adab. Who has no adab is animal. One feels sorry that the people of today do not know their glory. Allah Almighty said: “Wa La Taqtulu ‘Anfusakum”(4:29). Is it not like this? There is the Order that says “Don’t kill”. How can you violate the Order? Did Allah Who dressed you with the dress of Sultanate, make you Sultan so that you could kill His servants? Hasha.

Go ahead O Shah Mardan, your yaran admire you. May we be clean, may we be beautiful. May we be filled with love & longing. May we be filled with the love of our Lord. Through whose way? Through the Prophet of the end of times (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam). Learn adab. “Addabani Rabbi” Teach this O scholars of Egypt! Why did you not teach these people adab? Some said “Ikhwan”, some said “apes”, some said “animals”. Hasha. Why don’t you say “Insan ‘ala wazni Sultan”- Man is Sultan. Sultan is a person who is worthy of respect. Did Allah dress us with this sultanate? Yes, He did. If He did, then keep it. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. Masha Allah. You are Subhan Ya Rabbana, You are Sultan Ya Rabbana. Increase us in strength O Shah Mardan. May we be beautiful, may we be clean. May we be courteous. Well, now in this time, I am looking- People have nothing to do other than the way of adorning their egos and satisfying their animal desires. How do you tell? There is no religion, no faith, no Islam. What is a man who has no religion, no faith? Not responsible. Who is not responsible is animal.

Say O Pope! Instead of making cross like this, say a few words. What did Prophet Jesus say? Did he tell you to build churches and to make bell towers for them? Ding dong. Ding dong. Ding dong. Ding dong. Which Prophet did this? Which religion has this ringing of bells? Upon which order did Prophet Jesus tell his nations to make bells? “Make bells & ring them”. Bell is a rattle hanged on the necks of animals. It is not suitable for Man. Address the Man in the language of Man. Say O Pope: “O people, come to Your Creator for servanthood. Leave the fight. Because if this world is yours today, it will be someone else’s tomorrow. Don’t be greedy for this dunya”. Because Prophet Jesus came having one dress & left having the same one dress. Allahu akbar Allahu akbar. Did Prophet Jesus have a 2nd dress? Allahu Akbar. What a Sultan he was. He came to teach the nations, the people, the ways reaching to the Haqq/Truth. Who didn’t accept the Truth stood against him, didn’t want him. Who didn’t want him are shaytans.

Go ahead O Shah Mardan. Our situation is evident to you. There is no need to explain, you see our situation. Shaytan stripped Men out of their humanity. They follow shaytan but don’t follow the Order of ar-Rahman. Allahu Akbar ‘Azamu wa ‘Ajal Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. He (swt) is not pleased with this situation of ours. The people who live in this time, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi, for their desires, meaning for their own egoistic desires… Ashar ma ‘ubid, ma ‘ubid the worst that was ever worshipped. The people who follow their egoistic desires are the most evil ones, it says. Is it not like this? You may correct it. Did Allah Almighty tell you to build tall buildings, wear beautiful clothes, follow the fashion, expose your body? O Muslims! What is this situation of yours? You celebrated Eid, fasted Ramadan but now that Ramadan has passed, again you returned to your old life & made a mess out of it. You forgot your situation in Ramadan & again fell into those dirty holes. Their women into one kind and their men into another kind. They are like the herds who don’t know what they are doing.

Well, the one who is the head of a country read a khutba in the Eid celebrations- his own khutba: “O people! We completed Ramadan. Now it is Eid & what were forbidden in Ramadan are now allowed/mubah”. What did they allow by calling “mubah”? They allowed all kinds of dirty things, all kinds of it. The people- the people of the Muslim countries again started running after eating, drinking and dressing up. Meaning, the religion of today’s people who claim to be Muslim is- “ashar ma ‘ubid hawa n-nafis”.(The worst that was ever worshipped is the whims of the ego.) What is their religion? To do the things they like, they enjoy & to satisfy their egoistic pride. So women & men, they plan & count like this to carry out their dirty egoistic desires: “Ramadan has passed. Let us now dive into the sea, go to the shopping places & wander in the gaming halls”.

Shame on them. Allah didn’t create Man to play. Collect yourself. If you don’t, the one who will collect you, will come. May Allah forgive us. May Allah forgive us. After Ramadan passes, it goes back to the same routine- “Do what you want, don’t fear”. And then? “Duribat ‘Alayhimu dh- Dhillatu Wa l-Maskanatu” (2:61). Is the Verse not like this? On the necks of these children of Adam “maskanat”, they are miskeen (miserable). “Zillat”, they are zaleel (humiliated) and miskeen (miserable). There is no clean person left who may walk upright & straight and stand ready in the Presence of his Lord. For this, “They were covered with humiliation & misery” (2:61). There is humiliation & misery on all the people. They are humiliated. This- “Duribat ‘Alayhimu dh-Dhillatu Wa l-Maskanatu”- now a bridle of humiliation is put on all the people, because of this they say “we are tired of carrying this. Let us not carry it & find another method”. What other method can you find? When you reject the honour Islam brought, can there be any honour for you? You can’t find any other way or method, you only go corrupt.

“Duribat ‘Alayhimu dh-Dhillatu Wa l-Maskanatu”- Whole world is wandering in the streets in a humiliated state. There was no such a thing before. They are both humiliated & miserable. They all have some kind of a disease- all of them have some kind of a bad disease, women have a different one and men have different. And as a punishment, there is humiliation & misery for them. A believer is high, he is exalted. When Allah Almighty gives a punishment to His servant, Jaza’an wifaqa, He (swt) gives a suitable punishment. Let them keep shouting, screaming. Let them fire cannons, burn, destroy. There is nothing they gain nor is there any goodness in what they do. One day they will hit them too. Allah will humiliate the ones who humiliate the people. Allah made the people aziz/strong, granted them a high rank- granted a rank higher than the angels. When you make them low, there will come the people who will make you even lower. O our Lord! May you dress on us a dress from the addressing of Shah Mardan who keep the ways of adab & teach them to us. May You dress on us the honourable servanthood dress that descends on the Kaba Al-Mu’azzama & expel the ones who strip it off & throw it away. Many threw away the dress of servanthood & become an animal to their dirty egos. They have no other job. “Whatever I like, I do it”, they have nothing else.

May Allah not make our faces ugly. May our faces not get ugly & also may He not throw our hearts into dhulm/ darkness. Ask for it. Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim, march and do not fear. Fatiha.

“Where are you going to?” “I’m going to the tomb of Abu Ayyub Sultan”. “Ok, but what is this? Your dress was different yesterday”. “What can we do? We go to Abu Ayyub Sultan covered”. “Well, will he even look at you? You uncover for who looks at you & cover for who doesn’t look at you”. This is the doing of Turks- They go covered for visiting the awliyas and then after that, they open up like roses. It is a shame, one can’t be Muslim like this. “Duribat ‘Alayhimu dh-Dhillatu Wa l-Maskanatu”- Humiliation & misery fit them perfectly, they are dressed with it & they are all humiliated & miserable. Collect yourself. O nation of Islam! Be shy from Allah! Be shy from His Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam)! Collect yourself!

May Allah forgive us. O our Lord, send us a Master who will collect us, send us one like Shah Mardan.

Laylatu-l Qadr, Laylatu-l Qurb

Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim

Sultan ul-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Al-Haqqani An-Naqshibandi (QS), Sohbat, 3rd August, 2013.

There has never been anyone who opened his hands (for help) and returned from the Sultan’s door empty-handed. Sahhih ‘akidataka- Correct your belief.

Welcome to you, O yaran Shah Mardan. O holy one! May you teach us, we came to be taught by you. If you hit the right side of an untrained donkey, it goes left. If you hit its left side, it goes right. It is not trained. There should be a training. Madad Ya Rijal Allah, madad Ya Shah Mardan. O yaran Shah Mardan. May we be beautiful. May we be sweet. May we be majestic. They don’t use a mangy donkey at the door of the Sultan- Sultan uses a Kuhaylan (Arabian horse). Our Janab-i Mawla is the source of Lutf-ul Karam (Generous Grants) and we ask to be majestic, not miskeen (lazy & helpless). We are at the door of such a Sultan that being miskeen is not suitable, being majestic is suitable. One should know this. One should learn this.

Yes, the Sultan does not use a skinny horse at his door. He has a kuhaylan that scares the lions- the Sultan- that even a lion is afraid from it. Who can’t scare shaytan is in the category of trash. Madad Ya RijalAllah, madad Ya Shah Mardan. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Your yaran are your admirers. Slowly, Al ‘ilmu bi’t-ta’allum. Knowledge is gained day by day, no one can learn in one day all at once. Bi’t ta’allum- wa l-hilmu bi’t ta’allum. Is it not like this? Come in, welcome to you the ahbab of Shah Mardan- who are filled with the muhabbat/ love of Shah Mardan, who ask Nur from Shah Mardan – welcome. You came to such a door that has no equal, no like.

Go ahead O Shah Mardan. We are weak servants. ‘Abiduka dhu’afa, qawwi dha’fana bi Quwwatika Ya Rabb. We are weak servants. “Wa Khuliqa Al-‘Insanu Da’ifaan” (4:28). Is it not a Verse? Man was created weak. Qawwi dha’fana fi Ridak! O our Lord, may You remove our weakness. O Shah Mardan, may our weakness be lifted off us. May we be like the kuhaylan of the Sultan, may we not be in the category of miskeen donkeys that go and after a while fall down. May we be a kuhaylan that is worthy of the Sultan. Masha Allah. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. May you go ahead and explain to us, so that we understand. Yu’allimuhum, ta’allam wa ‘allim. Even if you don’t know, learn and teach. What should you learn? Well, what did we learn? To plow a field. What did we learn? To shepherd. What did we learn? To be a doorman. There are 360 crafts in dunya. Who doesn’t believe it can count, right S. Mehmet Effendi? There are all kinds of talents. What is the best of talents? Go ahead O Shah Mardan, your yaran are your admirers. Let them hear it. The best of the talents is adab.

No one has managed to draw close to his Lord by taking a way other than adab. Shah-i Jehan- our Master, the Sultan (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Addabani Rabbi- My Lord taught me adab”. And it continues- “Wa qarrabani- and brought me close – nearness to Allah, my Lord taught me this (Adab). I didn’t learn it from anyone else. Addabani Rabbi- He taught me the adab for being close to His Essence/Dhat-u Ajalli ‘Ala”. It is the assembly of Shah Mardan’s lovers- no one has ever come empty and returned empty from that assembly. Everyone has received a share. May we take a share too. Khudh naseebak/Take your share. Allahumma qawwi dha’fi fi Ridak. We are weak our Lord.

There are lions of Yours who can remove our weakness. There are holy servants of Yours who can teach us adab. Each adab is a level and there is no end to the levels. Who are in the category of donkeys continue with their donkey-ness. They don’t ask to be a horse, don’t ask to be a Man either. “My situation is good like this, I am comfortable” they say. They carry burdens and they bray too. They scared even the lion when they brayed: “What a majestic animal is this?” it scared the lion like this. You see? Well, the lion has never heard a voice like that in its life, it got astonished: “What a majestic creature is this that it even scared me”. Don’t bray like the braying of donkeys. No, be like the roaring of lions.

Go ahead O Shah Mardan. Allahu Dhu-l Jalal, Al-Yazdan didn’t create you to be a donkey. Allah Almighty didn’t create you as a beast of burden-know this, learn this. Al Khaliqu-l Yazdan Allah Almighty didn’t create you to be the donkey of dunya. Allah Almighty didn’t create you, saying “carry the burden that I load you down in dunya”. Allah Almighty didn’t make you the animal of dunya. Don’t forget. But what did shaytan turn the people into? May it be far from us, it turned the people into the animals of dunya. Shaytan made the people animals of dunya. And Man – “Wa Khuliqa Al-‘Insanu Da’ifaan”- was created weak. The meaning of weak is gentle- he is created gentle. He is not created for the burdens donkeys carry. Dunya- dunya is the burden of shaytan. It looks for someone “who should I load up?” It wants to load it onto Man who is gentle. Man is not a porter.

“Wa Humilati Al-‘Ardu Wa Al-Jibalu” (69:14). Is it a Holy Verse? “Humilat”, bore the burden but that burden is a burden that gives honour. And Man is honoured with such an honour that no one can be above that honour. Allah Almighty placed His Amanat/Trust on him. Man bore the Amanat that neither Heavens nor Earths could bear. It was offered to the mountains & stones “Who will bear this Amanat?” They said “O Lord, forgive us. Forgive us, we can’t do it”. Who did it? Who did it, who took that burden? “Wa Hamalaha l-‘Insanu” (33:72). Man bore it. Man didn’t take the Amanat for carrying fertilizer. There is such an honour for Man, that mountains, stones are offered to bear it but the mountains, stones said “We can’t accept it, we can’t bear it”. O Man, know your honour. Come in O seekers of Shah Mardan, who want to take faydh/benefit from him – listen. Know your honour. If Man knew his honour, it would be peaceful & quiet on earth. If Man knew his honour no one would insult one another, no one would oppress one another, no one would look down on another. This is the honour of Man. Get used to this O those who wander around claiming to be Men but are not aware of humanity.

Today’s humanity is not aware of humanity. The Bible, Torah, Zabur and the Holy Quran are sent to the people to teach them the level of humanity. “Wa Ma ‘Allamnahu sh-Shi’ra” (36:69). “We didn’t teach him poetry”. “Wa ‘Allamnahu Min Ladunna ‘Ilmaan” (18:65). We granted him a knowledge from Ladun/from Us. Our Master, the Sultan of the Prophets- Salawatullahi wa salamu alaik- knew his mission. And when he knew his mission, he learned what was necessary for him to fulfill that mission. “Addabani Rabbi. My Lord taught me adab”. Allah Almighty taught him how he should behave. Allah Almighty taught the Master of Creation (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam). “‘Allamani Rabbi” (12:37). Addabani Rabbi fa’ahsana ta’dibi. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. Yes. Yawmun jadeed, rizqun jadeed.

O Shah Mardan, your knowledge is a jewel. O people, take from that jewel. And each Prophet also came with a kind of jewel. The jewel Prophet Jesus brought is different. The jewel Prophet Moses brought is different and the jewel Prophet Solomon brought is different. What is what Prophet Solomon brought? Innahu min Sulaymana wa innahu Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. (27:30) The great Nabi, Prophet Solomon, from whose azamat/ greatness Heavens & earth would tremble, he also brought- he brought an amanat/ trust to mankind. “Innahu min Sulaymana wa innahu Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim”. There is an amanat, there is a jewel that each Prophet brought to make Men draw near to his Lord. To draw near to his Lord – this is the goal of the Men, to gain nearness to Allah. We want nearness to Allah. What else should we want? There is nothing for us with the Kings of this time.

For us, a nearness – such a nearness that it happens, its tahqiq/reality happens one night a year. On one night a year, how does a servant draw near to Allah Almighty? Its definition comes- the Laylatu-l Qadr. On the Laylatu-l Qadr, when that manifestation takes place, everything is in sajda. O Lord, may You not deprive us of that sajda. May we make sajda for You our Lord. May we dive into Your Nur O Lord. Grant us strength O Lord and we will raise Your banners. We will destroy the banners of the enemy of mankind. We acknowledge the flag of azamat the Prophet of the end of times brought and we run to be under it. Sahibu-l Liwa Al Hamd- the flag of Praise belongs to our Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam). In dunya and in akhirah also his flag will be called, raised and all Prophets will run to be under it. May Allah grant us honour & in dunya also may we be under that Liwa Al-Hamd which the Glorious Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) carries.

May we be dressed with the level of the honour of humanity. Leave the fighting. Leave the savagery. The beauty and elegance of Man- “Wa la-qad karramna Bani Adam” (17:70). Don’t debase the children of Adam who Allah honoured and exalted. This is in the Bible, in Torah, in Zabur too; it is in all the books. Prophet Adam was crowned with this crown of happiness, with this crown of honour in Paradise. Try to keep it. All of us have it but shaytan drives people in the opposite way. O our Lord, You have all these fresh and beautiful ways.

It is tonight which is the Laylatu-l Qadr, the famous. It is a manifestation. Once that manifestation is opened, whatever is there standing, falls down in sajda. Even the ants are in sajda. Al-Azamatu Lillah, wa l-‘Izzatu Lillah, wa l-Jabarut Lillah. May Allah open it for you. May He open our hearts. What beauties are there, what beauties are there, what honours are there. Yes, when that “Innahu min Sulaiman” came, that Bismillah brought so much to the Queen of Sheba. It is the Bismillah from Sulaiman. When it is recited upon the order coming from Rabbu-l Izzat you can’t describe or explain the rank that comes with it, S. Mehmet Effendi.

For this, let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. And we gain honour, we gain strength, we gain beauty. May we not be rejected from the Door of Acceptance of Rabbul Izzat. What night is it, the Laylatu-l Qadr? It is equal to “Alfi Shahr/1000 months”- which month, in which scale, which time is it? We can’t define it. Masha’ Allahu kana, wa ma lam yasha’ lam yakun. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. The arena is all yours. May you teach and we learn.

Tawfiq/success is from Allah Almighty. Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim and march. If you say it & march, there will be no closed doors left in front of you. There will be no creature left that does not respect you. Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim and blow on yourself. They don’t teach it because they worship shaytan. They worship idols, they worship imitated things. Leave these and make sajda in the Presence of Rabbu-l Izzat Who created you. Everything is in sajda on the Laylatu-l Qadr. Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Wa Lillah’il Hamd.

Aynu-l Fijah

Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim

Sultan ul-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Al-Haqqani An-Naqshibandi (Qs), Sohbat of the 11th of July, Ramadan 2013.

As-salamu ‘aleykum, ayyuha l-hadirun. Come closer, seat yourself comfortably, be easy. Allah has commanded us to be at ease. Formality; He has not imposed formality on us, no. We are not animals. An animal carries its burden, but it is happy to do so. We are human beings; mankind has a special kind of honour. Man is not a beast. Man has honour.

Dastur, ey Shah-i Mardan. Ey Yaran Shah-i Mardan! How lovely you are! Be beautiful. When we can be beautiful, why should we be ugly? Allah has created us to be beautiful. He has not created us to be ugly. inna-llaha jamilun yuhibbu l-jamal – Allah is Beautiful and He loves beauty. Masha’Allah la quwwata illa bi-llah. There is no power but with Allah. qawwi dhafi fi ridak, O Lord, strengthen me in my weakness for Your Pleasure.

Marhaba. Ey Yaran Shah-i Mardan. A greeting comes to us, and we, too, give a greeting, to the Lovers of Shah-i Mardan, to his beloved friends. Mashā’Allahu kān, wa mā lam yashā’ lam yakūn. Welcome, O head of this gathering, travelers of the way, and people in general. Welcome! May you be happy and joyful. Thanks be to Allah. May our assembly here be blessed. May our assembly be the assembly of Shah-i Mardan. A pure assembly. Let us at least be listeners in the assembly of that Lion. Come to us, ey Shah-i Mardan. Come and speak to us. Awaken us, Wake us up. To awaken, that is Shah-i Mardan’s task, al-hamdulillah wa shukru-li-llah, wa salātu wa s-salām ‘ala Habībillah, Sayyidi l-awwalin wa l-akhirin.

Thanks to Allah. It has been granted to us once again to live to see this blessed month. We are in the blessed month of Ramadan. May our faces shine with light, may our hearts be filled with light. This is what our Lord Almighty wishes. Allah is Beautiful, inna-llaha jamilun yuhibbul jamal, Allah Almighty is the Master of Absolute Beauty. Allahu Dhu l-Jalal, He says: I love what is beautiful. He created everything in Beauty. Allah Almighty created us to be beautiful. He did not create us to be ugly. O our Lord, You who possess Absolute Glory and Sovereignty, the servants of such a glorious Lord cannot be contemptible. You must know this. Jalīl Allah, Jalla Jalāluhu.. The servants of Allah the Glorious, Subhānahu wa Ta‘āla, cannot be contemptible. He is such a Sultan that He does not dress His servants in contempt. God forbid! Impossible!

O our Lord. You have dressed us in the loveliest dress, for which even the noble angels envied us, but He told them, No! This robe of honour is not for you. I will dress you in another one. This one is My khalifa, My representative. Amān, ya Rabbi. What an honour! Then the angels fell silent. Come, O Shah-i Mardan, your words have power. The saints are dressed with the attribute of Shah-i Mardan, every saint possesses this attribute. Shaykh Mehmet Effendi, every saint must have some of Shah-i Mardan’s awe-inspiring quality. He cannot be piteous and detestable. Those servants who are spiritually linked to Shah-i Mardan can never be contemptible. Allah created the sons of Adam, and He did not make them despicable. Shaykh Mehmet Effendi, God forbid! Allah did not say: I created him to be pitiful and he is My representative, God forbid! masha’Allahu kān. Allah, Allah. What Allah has willed came to be. Would Allah say: This is My deputy, and I have made him despicable?

O ignorant people, you simply will not learn. Learn from Shah-i Mardan, what beautiful speech. Allahu Dhu l-Jalal says: wa la-qad karramna Bani Adama (17:70) The children of Adam have been given Divine Grace, He said. O our Lord, dress us too in that grace, said the angels. No. I have given it to them. Come, O Shah-i Mardan, the news you bring is exactly suitable for your beloved friends. Let us say: Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. If you forgot the Basmala, you have forgotten everything. If you forgot the Basmala, they also will forget you. When you speak the Basmala, they will not overlook you.

Come, O Shah-i Mardan, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. O Lovers of Shah-i Mardan. He came with the Basmala, the source of adab. The face of one who says Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim will be beautiful, it cannot be ugly. Allah has not created the sons of Adam to be ugly, God forbid! Our Lord has not created the sons of Adam, whom He named as His deputy, to be ugly, God forbid! What makes us ugly, and what wishes to make us ugly is the evil devil. The evil devil and our own nafs are what make us ugly. O Lord, thanks be to You, praise and glory be to You for the Lights that descend in this blessed holy month of Ramadan. Let us love, O my listeners, O Lovers of Shah-i Mardan who are assembled here. Let us rejoice.

What do they say when looking into a mirror? Allahumma ahsanta khalqi fa ahsin khuluqi. How lovely You have created us. Look in the mirror and speak these words. How lovely You have made us to be, O our Lord. For the sake of the Beloved of Allah You have given us, You have dressed us with a drop from that Beauty Ocean, O my Lord. To reach that great honour, to give thanks, that is our duty, our very first duty. Look into the mirror, and say: al-hamdulillahi lladhi ahsana khalqi Praise and thanks to our Lord who has created us to be lovely. Praise Him. The Lord says, I will increase the blessing.

Come, O Shah-i Mardan. Speak of the enemy of man. When Allah Almighty raised and seated man upon the throne of grandeur, on the throne of majesty over all creation, shaytan flew into a rage. For shaytan harboured jealousy in his heart, it seems. He had maliciously tried to seat himself on that throne. When it was given to another, he rebelled against the Lord. Aman ya Rabbi. Make us not of those rebellious ones! He said, I was going to occupy that throne. I have filled all heavens and earths with my worship, and it was my wish to settle upon that throne of authority. Word went out to him: No, this is not for you. I have given to My deputy this robe of dignity and grandeur which is made of beauty from My Divine Beauty, majesty from My Divine Majesty, from My Divine Perfection and My Divine Glory and Honour. Him I have seated upon this throne; Man, the sacred human being.

Thanks be to our bountiful Lord who has made us to be of the sons of Adam who have been honoured. wa la-qad karramnā Banī Adama (17:70) The Sultan of Awliya, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi, Grandshaykh used to mention this verse in every assembly: wa la-qad karramna Bani Adama (17:70) For the sake of My illustrious Glory, I have placed mankind at such a high station as no other creature may ever reach. Thanks be to Allah. He does not give us weakness. Ey yaran Shah-i Mardan. O my beloved friends, O my companions! Mark my words. What we are given to say, what comes from above, it is from the words of Allah’s Beloved, from the word of authority of him whom Allah created as the Prince of Creation. He was given the ability of addressing people, our noble Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam). He was seated upon the throne, Haji Mehmet.

Abu Bakr, you don’t know him, you never knew him. Did you? The daughter of Abu Bakr, she had a child. He sat like this, in the assembly. This is a story. But I, we saw this. There were flies. This child, maybe he was a little stupid, or simple? He was a slow child. There were flies buzzing all around. His mother said to him, Drive them away. Wave your hand to drive the flies away. The child went like this. He wouldn’t raise his hand any higher, only up to here. Like a fool, a simpleton. Allah has not created us to be fools. God forbid! God forbid! Man is not stupid. He is not a fool. He does not go about aimlessly, nor is he shameless. Man is the Sultan of that throne. Man is decorated with the rank of authority conferred upon him by the Lord of Might and Glory.

Know yourself, O mankind. If you know who you are, you will have adab. It is when you do not know yourself, that you lose your adab. Come, O Shah-i Mardan. The human being, Allahu akbar. khalaqa l-insan; ‘allamahu l-bayan. (55:3,4) Is it not so, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi? ar-Rahman. khalaqa l-insan; ‘allamahu l-bayan. (55:3,4) Shah-i Mardan, the Prophet’s inheritor, who was given of this knowledge, the legacy of the father of the Prophet of the Last Times, Sayyidna ‘Ali, Shah-i Mardan, it was given to him. Addabanī Rabbī, said the Prophet, ‘alayhi ssalatu wa s-salam. My Lord has taught me adab. Who is there? Who could be more advanced in adab than he?

Who makes man to be lacking in adab? It is shaytan. Shaytan tries by all his means to separate people from the honour of humankind. Even now, and up to the Day of Judgement, shaytan is working to take away men’s honour. You cannot take it, He(swt) says. What We have given, you cannot take away. He makes them act as he wants. If the Sultan’s son behaves in an unruly manner, nobody can interfere. He is the son of the Sultan. Everybody says, He is the Sultan’s son, we won’t get mixed up in this. Being the Sultan’s son is one thing, but to be the servant of the Lord of Glory is another.

Look into the mirror. You should see the Light on your face. If you are not blind, you must see it. Allah, Subhānahu wa Ta‘āla has given Light to every human being. Ya Rabbi. Do not leave us without Light, O Lord. For the sake of this holy month, O my Lord. Send us, O my Lord, a Sultan who will bring down shaytan’s number to zero, so that we might walk in Your way. O my Lord, increase our love and longing, so that we might know what we must do. Nowadays mankind does not know what it must do. People think that they are in this world in order to kill each other. My throne is higher than yours, yes, or my country is bigger than yours, or it should be larger. These are the worthless aims they are pursuing. Whereas compared with the Divine blessings, which Allah Dhu l-Jalal has bestowed upon us, what is this world? It is rubbish.

O our Lord, our Lord who makes us speak. Ey Shah-i Mardan. Come to us, O Lion of lions. Send us one of your pure descendants to teach and to train us, so that mankind might be disciplined and trained. Otherwise, He(swt) says, I will make them fall upon each other and attack each other. If man does not realize the potential of mankind, I will destroy the dominion of man; I will let it be destroyed, He says from on high. Man must know what the human being is worth. What is the value of Man? When man does not realize what it is to be human, he falls down to below the level of four-footed beasts. Whereas Allah, Jalla Jalāluhu, granted us Divine gifts and glories, you go ahead and slaughter men, you beat and destroy them. For the possession of land you cause pandemonium to break loose. You have no humanity, if we may say so. Therefore, the world has lost all its adab; they crush one another. Adab has been lifted from us and calamity has landed instead. May Allah keep this far from us.

Let us say: Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. The throne of the great prophet-king Sulayman had the noble Basmala written upon it. A throne of gold. You did not see this, Mehmet, there was this ‘Ayn ul-Fija, far away, but then you were not yet born, in Sham. Water gushed forth from there, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi, for a distance from here to the upper mosque, such water sprang from there. The people of Sham used to say, this spring, the water springing forth from here, is the water of the Queen of Sheba. Allahu Akbar. The Queen of Sheba, the Prophet Sulayman asked, Who is this? They said, it is she, the Queen of Sheba. Water flowed from below her. You have not seen this, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi. From here as far as the upper mosque, water gushed out, like this. Now they have shut that off as well. Allahu Akbar ‘ala man takabbara wa tajabbar..

The arrogant tyrants have it coming. Those who do not know the value of man to whom Allah has given greatness, who do wrong and oppress men, they will be punished. In this world they will meet their punishment, and in the hereafter their place will be in the fires of Jahim. Aman ya Rabbi. Be mindful of justice. Come, O Shah-i Mardan. Kun adilan, wa la takun zaliman. Be just, do not be unjust. I am not an unjust oppressor, says Allah Almighty. I have restrained Myself from injustice. fa la tazalamu – so do not, you, act unjustly. This news, has the Muslim world not heard it? Has it not heard of this? I am not a tyrant. Injustice does not please Me, says Allah Almighty. I will speak up for the rights of the oppressed. I will crush, I will crush the tyrants, He says. Allah Almighty’s order from above. This is Shah-i Mardan’s address. I will crush them, He says, I will leave none of the oppressors. I will not leave innocent victims to cry. I will exact My revenge on the tyrants, I will crush them.

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar innahu min Sulaymana wa innahu Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. (27:30) Speak this and rub it over yourself seven times, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim, and all your pains will be gone. No grief or anxiety will remain. No want or neediness will remain, O my Lord. Give us strength, we are so weak. We haven’t even the strength of an ant. The ant, when it warned its fellow ants – qalat namlatun, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi. ya ayyuha n-namlu udkhulū masākinakum (27.18) O you ants, said the leader of the ants, enter your dwellings! This is an order, do not come out! Do not come out! la-yahtimannakum Sulaymānu wa junūduhu. (27:18) So that the armies of the prophet Suleyman will not crush you. Go into your nests. You are not ordered to come out into the streets. The order is for you to stay at home, to remain in your houses. In times of fitna, do not go out.

When we were very young, Haji Mehmet, I was very young then. There was a preacher, an old preacher who spoke very nicely. “I look forward to the afterlife”, Allah, Allah, he used to say that. He would say: You must not stick your head out of your house. Whoever sticks out his head and then wants to pull it back in, horns will have grown on his head, he said. He can’t get it back into the house. Do not leave your house. Allahu Akbar. O you women, wa qarna fi buyūtikunna. (33:33) What kind of Muslims are you? You fill the streets. Have you no shame? No chastity, no good name? Do you have no honour? No virtue, no chastity? Where do you stand?

O Shah-i Mardan, the world will collapse from your majesty. We will show you, he says, our dignity will show you. They think it is easy to live as a Muslim. We will destroy the Muslims, with guns and cannons. You will see how you yourselves will be destroyed by cannons and guns! May Allah make us of the junūdullah, the Lord’s armies, my son. Let us be among the fighters of Allah. O our Lord, we are at Your service, we should say. To serve the dunya is worth nothing at all. It is rubbish. innahu min Sulaymana wa innahu Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim (27:30) Vroom, it fell down, the palace of Balqis.

So there was this spring, at Fija, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi, it flowed over a stretch of about 100m, water welling up from below like this. There was a building of old stone there too. The people of Sham used to say, This water which springs from below Bilqis’ throne gives Sham its blessed abundance. No other place is as blessed as Sham, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi. innahu min Sulaymana wa innahu Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. (27:30) There are forty holy saints there, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi. If one of them were to let out a shout, Sham in its entirety would collapse. What is this rubbish of theirs?

Come, O Shah-i Mardan, let us be revived in faith, may the blessing of this holy month descend on us. Show them what lies hidden within Islam! What the Muslims have in store – let us see and know it. Let us live within Islam. Let us live as servants of our Lord. Let us have no other worry than that. O our Lord, all we care for is to be Your servants. It does not matter if our house, our land, is burnt or destroyed. The only important thing is that they do not destroy the faith in our hearts. That they cannot destroy. This is what Grandshaykh told me: Sham will be destroyed, it will be destroyed. However, in one night all the rubble will be taken away and thrown in the sea. On the second night, instead of the Sham they destroyed, a new, identical Sham will be built up by troops of Jinn. Long may he live, kiss your master’s hand. Kiss your master’s hand.

I wish for the blessed Sham. It will be the same as before, a new one will be built, he says. Thanks be to Allah, what a blessing to give thanks. Anta l-Qawiy, Anta l-Qadiru l-Muqtadir, ya Rabbi. la taqnatu min rahmati-llah. Those tyrants will all go away. That water will be seen again, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi. What sweet water, once I saw it, below some old stone buildings. In the old days the water gushed up from underneath them. From here maybe for 50 metres the water bubbled up from below. The people of Sham said that this water comes from underneath the royal palace of Bilqis. Yes, indeed, it comes to Sham and makes it so blessed and fruitful. Such a blessed place is the much-honoured Sham.

Ah, Sham-i sharif, aah, Sham-i sharif. Because of our injustice this punishment has come upon it. They followed the latest fashion, the latest fashion. The ladies of Sham – we will make the girls into soldiers, so they made soldiers of them. They left no religion, no faith, no chastity. But vengeance will overcome all of them. I will not let them be, speaks the Lord Almighty Allah, Allah. Allah Allah Allah. Subhansın, ya Rabbi. Sultansın. He will let them suffer the same and even more than that. Not one of the cruel and unjust ones will be left in Sham. May Allah save us from being cruel and unjust.

What a sense of ease I am feeling, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi. He also loves Sham more than any other place, my son loves it; my other son also, may Allah protect him and give him life. Both of them are of the generals of Sham, I am informed. They are viziers to the rest, as well as generals. They belong to those who support Sham, they bear great weight. Kiss his hand. Ruqiya resembles him a lot. She is severe. This one, and that one, too. Bahauddin is not like that. Bahauddin and Naziha, they are not so much like that. Especially Bahauddin, not at all. But this one has that quality of wrath, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi. And in that one also.

O my God, let us see those good days. Allah Almighty has said, I will take My revenge on the tyrants He will send it, He will cleanse that place. Who wishes for the old Sham, the old Sham will be rebuilt in one night. In one night all the concrete will be dumped in the sea. Would that I could see it in those days, jāmi‘u l-Mahdi, maqamu ‘Isa. That place has so much blessing. I wish they would lay me to rest there by the feet of my Shaykh..

Where Is Our Grave?

Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim

Ad-dinu nasiha. Religion is advice. It is a ghanimah/spoils for Man. Angels greet us with Salam. O Ahbab who are on the way of Shah Mardan, yaran-u Shah Mardan – Welcome to this day of ours. May this day of ours be beautiful for us, may it be beautiful for you. May it not bring sorrows or despair. May our day come filled with goodness. May we receive from the goods of our day that which is filled with goodness. How beautiful. O Ya Rabbi. We are not like fourlegged animals. Dunya is a hostel for them too but dunya is not a hostel for Man like it is for animals. Dunya is a hostel. There are who land and who leave.

Go ahead O Shah Mardan. O Lion of Allah’s way. May you fill us with faith. May you fill us with honour. May you fill us with loads of faith in the Presence of Rabbu-l Izzat. What is it that we ask for in dunya? It is faith. May we come with faith & leave with faith. May we not come for the dirty dunya. But shaytan made the people confused and says “Ask for the dirty dunya no matter what!” No, don’t run after the dirty dunya. You will be dirty. Run after the good ones and you will be good. You will be good. What is it that is asked from us? Ad-Dinu nasiha; religion is advice. There is one matter that is requested from us, about which the glorious Prophet of the End of Times informed us from Rabbu-l Izzat: Be good, be beautiful. Be nice. Don’t dive into the dunya filth. A barn is not suitable for you. Palaces are what are suitable for you. Kun fayakun! Palaces appear! Allah Almighty’s order immediately happens.

Know Allah, say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. May we remember the Name of Allah first. We should say the Name of our Lord before anything else. May we remember the Name of Allah first. You have no honour, no value unless you say the honored Name of Allahu Dhu-l Jalal. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. May we also take naseeb and ihsan from your way and may our faces become beautiful. May we not be ugly. The Prophet of the End of Times said: “Ahsinu wujuhakum”, make your faces beautiful. What makes the face of Man beautiful is not make-up. A beauty comes to Man- descending from Heavens and he becomes sweet. O Man! Be beautiful. This is the teaching of the Prophets: O Man, be beautiful. Don’t be ugly. On the contrary, be beautiful, says Allah Almighty. Allahu Jamilun, Allah Almighty is the most beautiful. Allah Almighty created His Habib and granted him beauty. What He (swt) asks from us is “Be beautiful, be nice”.

Ad-dinu nasiha. Religion is advice. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. Man ashara qawman, la ‘arba’ina yawman sara minhum. If a people spend 40 days together with another people, they become from them. If they are together with donkeys for 40 days, they become donkeys. If they are together with a Sultan for 40 days, they become Sultans. Allah dressed on us the dress of sultanate. It is such a dress, such an honour /iftikhar dress that shaytan got jealous of it. It said, “It would be more suitable for me”. The word came from above: “I granted you what is suitable for you. You can’t interfere with what I grant him – you can’t interfere with what I grant the Children of Adam. I granted you what I granted you. You can’t interfere with Me!” Jalla Jalaluhu. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. Janabu Rabbu-l Izzat rebuked shaytan. He (swt) said “You can’t interfere. You can’t decide what I grant or don’t grant. I granted you what I granted you but I didn’t grant you what I granted Adam”. Allahu Akbar!

Go ahead O Shah Mardan. O our Lord- our Subhan, our Sultan. You created Your Habib (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) beautiful. Who love Your Habib are also beautiful, who go on his way are also beautiful. Who have his morals are also beautiful. They are the people of paradise. Ad-dinu nasiha, religion is advice. Say O mankind, who are you? Who are you? You are the Hazrat Insan. Hazrat Insan – Allah Almighty dressed him with a rank. Angels said “Dress this attribute on us”. Allah Almighty said “No. “This is unique to Adam. What I granted to you and to Adam is different. “There is the dress of honour/iftikhar I dressed on Adam. He is My Caliph. “He is well-respected. There can’t be anyone “higher than the Children of Adam. “I granted this rank to him and granted you what I granted you but you can’t ask Me for what I granted Adam”.

O Lord, You made us beautiful. We wish we stayed beautiful. Stay alert! There are so many things- Rabbu-l Izzat, Janab-i Haqq, Jalla Jalaluhu says “I didn’t grant anyone what I granted the Children of Adam”. Be proud, honoured O Man! Be happy with this rank Allah Almighty granted us. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. Your Yaran are your admirers- they are admirers of the Nur on your face, they are admirers of the wisdom in your words. Shukur Janab Allah.

Insan! Prophet Adam is who represents Allahu Dhu-l Jalal. Why does he represent Allahu Dhu-l Jalal? Because Hazrat Nabi (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam), who is the Prophet of the End of Times, represents Him. “I granted the Children of Adam honour for the honour of the Prophet of the End of Times”. Listen O yaran Shah Mardan. Let us say O yaran, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Always say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim and there will be no power that can stop you, no power that can beat you. There is no honour that can reach your honour. Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Grant us strength O our Mawla. Grant us power O our Mawla and we open up and are filled with love & enthusiasm. Shah Mardan’s way is the way of enthusiasm. Who is filled with love & enthusiasm is the Prophet Hz. It comes to us from him. Be Man, don’t be animal. Be beautiful; don’t be ugly. This is what Allah Almighty asks from us. But shaytan says, on the contrary, “Be ugly”. How can a person be ugly? He gets ugly with his actions. He is getting ugly according to what he does, you can’t even look at his face. You can’t look at shaytan’s face.

“Be beautiful” says the order from Heavens. O Children of Adam, all the Prophets that came from East to West told their nations “Be beautiful, don’t be ugly”. There is such a beauty that… Prophet Solomon- alaihi s-salam, ‘ala nabina alaihi s-salatu wa s-salam, wrote a letter and said: “‘Innahu Min Sulaymana Wa ‘Innahu Bismi Llahi r-Rahmani r-Rahimi” (27:30). The earth trembled. Balqis’s golden throne shook and collapsed. O Man, your virtue and rank cannot be finished by writing or speaking of it. O glorious Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam), who was told in the Divine Presence of Allah, “Put your feet on the ‘Arsh, O My Habib!” HabibuLlah asked for this honour for his Nation too, “May my Nation walk the path which I walk. May they not walk the path on which shaytan sets foot”. O our Lord- our Subhan, our Sultan. Kulluha Adab – All is Adab. The Holy Quran, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi, from the beginning to its end is filled with wisdom, with beauties, with honour. Recite it and your honour increases.

Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Go ahead O Shah Mardan, your yaran are your admirers. How beautiful it is to be from your yaran. Be nice. Be beautiful. Walk the path of beautiful ones. Who is the beautiful? Who takes Nur from Heavens is the beautiful. Man cannot be beautiful without taking that Nur. Don’t sleep. Open your eyes. Allah granted you eyes to see the beautiful. Allah granted you speech to speak of His Wisdoms. He granted you hands, feet, and a body so that you can perform His servanthood. Don’t escape from His servanthood- don’t escape from the servanthood of Rabbu-l Izzat. O our Lord- our Subhan, our Sultan. Shah Mardan is speaking to us. He is speaking to us, we should open up. We should open up. We should open up.

One day the grave is waiting for us too. However we are not created for the grave. They didn’t create us for grave. Our rank is high. Our grave is above, not inside of the earth. What they bury inside of the earth is the animal attributes. What goes up to the heavens is the Nur Allah granted us, the Ruh. To get the Ruh ready, be dressed with Ruh (spirituality) and then they may call you up. O our Lord. There is Shah Mardan who will teach us our humanity. O yaran Shah Mardan. Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. May the doors of Heaven open. The earth has nothing. Look for what comes down from Heavens. Look for what comes down from Heavens, not what grows up from the earth. Look for what comes down from Heavens. The animals and insects also eat what grows on the earth. You are different. You should know, you should know about yourself. O Children of Adam, O Bani Adam! “Uskun ‘Anta Wa Zawjuka l-Jannata” (2:35) I made the paradise an abode for you, O children of Adam. May you stay in these Paradises”. But shaytan messed it up. It made them expelled from paradise and thrown to this filthy dunya.

O our Lord! The dress of iftikhar, the dress of izzu sharaf (honour) was dressed on mankind. Don’t throw it away! That dress you are dressed with was dressed on you when you were leaving paradise. No one can take away from you that dress- that dress of honour, that dress of iftikhar. Not only one but even a thousand shaytans can’t take it. O our Lord! May You grant us strength. May You grant us power and we remember You. We stand in Your Way. May our love & enthusiasm increase. May You send us the Shah Mardan who will defeat the ones that corrupt Your way. May You send us the Sultans who will please Your Habib. May our external power increase. May our internal power increase also. Whatever the unbelievers, who oppose Islam invented, is all trash. Leave them & look to the power that will come down from Heavens. Find the beauty from Heavens. Beauty comes down from Heavens. Ugliness comes from earth. Real beauty comes down from Heavens. May we dress in the dress of Nur O Lord. O our Lord- You are Subhan, You are Sultan. May You accept us Ya Rabbi. There is no end or limit to Your Grants.

Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. May the doors open for us. May we be told: “As-Salamu alaikum O servants whom Rabbu-l Izzat loves. Welcome to you. You came with barakah, you came with khair”. Go ahead and speak O Shah Mardan. Your yaran are your admirers. How beautiful is your way. Don’t leave that way and fall into a bad way. The bad way belongs to shaytan. Evil things belong to shaytan. “Don’t be shaytan, be angels” was said to mankind. O our Lord! May You grant us strength, power. May You dress us in the dress of majesty. O Lord, may You dress us in the dress of majesty that You dress on Your weak servants. Believers have the dress of majesty. Who doesn’t believe doesn’t have that dress of majesty. We have the dress of majesty which comes from the Sultan. “Dress in it and come to Me” says Allah. “Don’t leave it. I sent for you the dress of honour. Wear it and come to Me. Don’t fall into the filth of dunya”.

You are Subhan, You are Sultan O our Lord. You are Sultan O our Lord For the honour of Your Habib (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam), for the honour of this Ramadan Sharif, may the tyrants, unbelievers, shaytans, get exhausted, be humiliated and fight each other. May the flags of Islam rise. O believers, raise the flag of Islam and a power that cannot be stopped comes to you. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. Say this at least 3 times a day. You will be dressed with the dress of majesty. No troubles will come to you. They may dress in the dress of majesty. May you be dressed with a dress from the beauty of Heaven, from the honour of Heaven, which will give you happiness.

Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. O our Lord, we are weak servants. May imdad/help reach us. The imdad of Heavens reaches. Ramadan Sharif has arrived. It is welcome. Yaran of Sardar (commander), may it come with his barakah. O yaran Shah Mardan. May it come with his barakah. May it come with the power, which will defeat, crush shaytan Ya Rabbi. May You make us within that circle of Divine Protection Ya Rabbi. May we open up. May we expand. May we gain power and strength. May we not be a barn keeper. May we be dressed with beauty, may we not be ugly.

Allahu Allah, Allahu Rabbi. Allahu Allah, Allahu Hasbi. If they called with these words, there would be no need to go into the streets and scream. But Man lost his humanity and became only animal attributes. Return to your Lord, don’t go out into the streets. May the Heavenly support that will come down from Heavens reach you. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. As-Salamu alaikum O Hadirun, O yaran Shah Mardan.

We are the Ummah of the Sultanu-l Anbiya (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam). The power and barakah of our Shaykh, who is the Sultanu-l Awliya, is on us. Let us say Huuu. O Shah Mardan, go ahead. Allah bless you.

It is the day of Friday, the manifestation of Friday is different. Its strength is different. Its light is different. O our Lord. Give us permission to recite Your Beautiful Name, my Allah. May we say Allahu Allahu Allahu Haqq. We won’t be sad. We won’t be sad by remembering the name of our Lord. Today is Friday. It is Sayyid-ul Ayyam – the lord of days. Our Mawla gives His favours more on this day. May our spirits be loaded with faith. May our honor be loaded with honor from the honor of His Beloved (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam). Amin. Amin. Amin. Al-hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen.

Fatiha. Allah.

The Biggest Teaching

Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim

Sultan ul-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Al-Haqqani An-Naqshibandi (QS), Sohbat of the 22nd of January, 2014.

May we be clean ones. Let’s say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. This is it. Bismillah Sharif, Bismillah Sharif. Honored Bismillah. May Allah not let us forget Bismillah Sharif. Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani rRahim. What shall we do? This is the greatest favour to say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. JanabAllah made us say it. What a great favour it is – Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim.

JanabAllah gives strength to those who recite Bismillah Sharif. There won’t be weakness, there won’t be sickness, there won’t be troubles, there won’t be ugliness, there won’t be disasters. There won’t be ugliness. The one who recites Bismillah Sharif is beautiful. Our Allah has granted such a great favor to His Beloved (sallAllahu alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam). “Say, O My Beloved, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim.” Allah Allah. Allah Allah. As long as Bismillah Sharif is recited, strength comes – strength, both evident and hidden. Our disasters will be gone.

Let’s say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Allahu Allah, Allahu Rabbi, Allahu Hasbi ma li siwahu. Ya Rabbi, may our burdens be gone. May the heaviness on us be gone. May we become light. May we be clean, may we be beautiful. May we be like lions by saying Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. The one who recites Bismillah Sharif is like a lion. Who doesn’t recite is rubbish. Who doesn’t recite is not worth a penny. Aman ya Rabbi. May He make us among those who know the value of Bismillah Sharif. Let’s say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Don’t let us forget, O my Lord. Who doesn’t recite Bismillah is a disaster. He is a disaster. Don’t be a disaster.

Recite Bismillah Sharif, you’ll be light. Bismillah Sharif dresses a man in light, Mehmed. It dresses with light. O our Lord, don’t deprive us of that light. The one who recites Bismillah is firm and upright. He is honest and filled with the bliss of love. He says Allah with the bliss of love. O our Lord, it’s not our right, however, You have favoured us. Let us recite Bismillah Sharif. How beautiful, how beautiful. Let us be beautiful. Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim, you’ll be beautiful. Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim, you’ll be virtuous. Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim, you’ll possess virtue in the presence of Allah. Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim so that you are healthy. Tawba ya Rabbi, tawba ya Rabbi, tawba astaghfirullah.

Who recites Bismillah Sharif won’t crawl. He won’t crawl, he’ll go up high. He will go up high. Let’s say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. All doors will open. All troubles will go away. O our Lord, you showed kindness to us. Let’s say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. O man, say this, be rescued. Be rescued from all troubles. Be rescued from ugliness. Be rescued from problems. Say “My Lord”, Bismillahi r-Rahmani rRahim. You won’t have troubles, you won’t be in hardship, you won’t be ugly. Whatever you ask, your Lord will grant. Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Fatiha.

The feet of the one who says Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim step firmly, sheikh Mehmed Effendi. Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. You will step on the ground firmly. You won’t have troubles, you won’t have hardship. You won’t be bored and depressed. Your Lord will love you, you will love your Lord. Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Fatiha.

Ya Rabbi, You granted us the Bismillah Sharif. May we not forget. We won’t, inshaAllah. Fatiha.

Don’t forget Bismillah. The biggest lesson, the biggest adab is to say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Don’t forget. The biggest strength is Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Our weakness will be gone, our ugliness will be gone, our fears will be gone, our hearts will open. We’ll be happy. Fatiha.

The one who says Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim is beautiful. The one who says Bismillahi r-Rahmani rRahim is pure, very pure and clean. O our Lord, You created us beautiful. You made us pure with Bismillah Sharif, ya Rabbi. O our Lord, forgive us. The greatest of Your favours to us is to say Bismillahi rRahmani r-Rahim. Allahu Akbar. Fatiha.

Sicknesses are gone with Bismillah Sharif; worries are gone, fears are gone, troubles are gone, sadness is gone. Allahu Akbar. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi lladhi la yadurru ma’a ‘ismihi shay’un fi l-‘ardi wa la fi s-sama’i wa Huwa s-Sami’u l-‘Alim. You are Subhan, ya Rabbi. Our Allah, our Subhan, our Sultan.

The one who recites Bismillah won’t have troubles, he won’t be in despair. O our Lord, “Rabbi Ishrahli sadri wa yassirli amri.” (20:25-6) (Expand my breast & ease my task). “Rabbi Ishrahli sadri” give comfort to our souls. With what? Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. May your soul open. Our Allah. On any way say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim.

Read on me. May heaviness on me be gone. There won’t be disasters for people. There won’t be ugliness. May Allah be pleased. Long live, Mehmed. This is my haji Mehmed. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. “Salamun qawlan min Rabbin Rahim”(36:58) Your here and hereafter will be prosperous. Be a lion. Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Say salam to your father, grandfather, to all who ask. Stand like a lion.

Salamun alaikum. -Alaikum as-salam. Long live, Mehmed.
