The Secret Order of the Ancient Khwajagan

Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim

The highest level of esoteric knowledge originating from the Hadith of the Prophet of God, peace and blessings be upon him, holds that an executive group of Muslim Saints directs the spiritual evolution of all living creatures in the solar system.

The Ahadith cite the exact number of these Saints, their location, their functions and the condition of their hearts. The Khwajagan, their heirs, who are known to be possessors of phenomenal mystical powers such as Tay al-Ard (telekinesis, thaumaturgical teleportation: the ability to travel throughout the universe within the ‘twinkle of an eye‘, also the term for ‘the ability to appear at different places at one and the same time’), and Kashf and Ilham (highly advanced psychic and telepathic communication) work on their behalf, to implement their spiritual plans throughout the world. Whenever the Khwajagan reappeared throughout history, the winds of major spiritual changes began to blow.

There are Ahadith of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be with him) which highlight some of the supernatural powers and abilities of these great Muhammadan Saints. In his masterpiece “Kashf Al Mahjub” (the oldest treatise written on Sufism) Ali b. Uthman al Hujwiri narrates the following Hadith attributed to the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, “If ye knew Allah as He ought to be known, ye would walk on the seas and the mountains would move at you call”.

It is narrated on the authority of Abd Alllah Ibn Mas’ud, who is cited in Imam Abu Nu’aym al-Asfahani’s Magnum Opus “Hilyat-ul-Awliya” that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him said:

“Allah Almighty has created three hundred people, whose hearts are like that of Adam, and He created forty people whose hearts are like Moses. He also created seven people whose hearts are like that of Abraham, and he created five people with a heart like that of Gabriel, and three people with a heart like that of Mika’il and only one person with a heart like that of Rafa’il (Raphael).  Such a person will live among the people, and through his prayers, by Allah Almighty’s permission, life and deathrain and prosperity will come and calamity will be averted.”

Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal relates in “Musnad-e-Ahmad”: “…By virtue of them (the Substitutes: Al Abdaal), Allah Almighty provides rain and by virtue of them, Allah Almighty provides help against the enemies. By virtue of them, Allah Almighty’s punishment is averted”. (Musnad-e-Ahmad)

Imam Suyuti and others have accepted that the narrations concerning these pious men, the Substitutes, have reached the status of Tawaatur (highest form of authenticity) (refer Nazmul Mutanaathir minal hadithil mutaawatir pgs.231-232) and has written a complete treatise regarding this topic in which he mentions, “There are several narrations regarding them.

Among those are the narrations of: 1) Sayyidina Umar ibn al-Khattaab, 2) Sayyidina Ali, 3) Sayyidina Hudhayfa, 4) Sayyidina Anas, 5) Sayyidina Ubaadah ibn Saamit, 6) Sayyidina Abd Alllah ibn Abbas, 7) Sayyidina Abd Alllah ibn Umar, 8) Sayyidina Abd Alllah ibn Mas’ood, 9) Sayyidina Awf ibn Maalik, 10) Sayyidina Mu’aadh ibn Jabal, 11) Sayyidina Waathila ibn al-Asqaa, 12) Sayyidina Abu-Sa’eed al-Khudriy, 13) Sayyidina Abu Hurayra, 14) Sayyidina Abud-Dardaa,

15) Sayyidatuna Umm Salmah and many others which are impossible to be enumerated.”

(al-Khabaru Daal vol.2 pg.455 of al-Haawi)

This executive group of Saints is in communication with highly evolved humans collectively known since the 8th century A.D. as the Khwajagan, who possess phenomenal telekinetic, psychic and telepathic powers and the ability to communicate to their followers through dreams and to miraculously appear and instruct in the plans of the executive group.  Operating from numerous centers, some of which are in Western nations, the Khwajagan are responsible for peacefully implementing the spiritual plans of the executive group.

If the spiritual development of humanity in general is progressing satisfactorily, the Khwajagan remain nearly inactive for decades, but reactivate if civilization is advancing too rapidly, or too slowly, to be in accord with the overall spiritual development of the other various denizens of the universe. Major centers of power from which the Khwajagan operate include the Khurasan (Hindu Kush) region and Afghanistan, and such towns as Bokhara and Balkh.

Black Banners

People throughout the centuries who have brought major spiritual or cultural changes to large segments of humanity have studied under the Khwajagan and their heirs, the Naqshbandi Shaykhs.  This inner tradition still continues and will continue until the most elite of them appear with black banners as the Knights of the Awaited Imam, Al Mahdi, who with the aid of his chivalrous Knights, and the second coming of Christ, shall restore balance to the universe and bring peace on earth.

It is related on the authority Thawbaan (Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah said, “When you see the black banners coming from Khurasan, go to them immediately, even if you must crawl over ice.  Indeed, with them is the Caliph al Mahdi” (Ibn Majah, Al-Hakim, Ahmad)

Ibn Masood reported: “We went to the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, and he came out with good news — and happiness was easily recognizable upon his face. When we asked him about a matter he would tell us about it, and we were never silent about anything until he spoke of it, until a party from the Banu Hashim passed by amongst whom were Al Hasan and Al Husayn, peace be upon them. When he saw them he hugged them with tears in his eyes, so we asked: ‘O Messenger of Allah’ we see something has changed your face which distresses us.’ Thereupon he replied: ‘We are a family of a House for whom Allah has chosen the Hereafter rather than the present. After me my family will be refugees, driven out of countries until the black banners are raised in the east. They will ask for their right but they will not be given it, so they will ask again for it, and they will not be given it, so they will fight and be given victory. Those of you or your descendants, who live during that time, go to the Imam of the family of my House even if you have to crawl over ice to him. Indeed, they are banners of guidance. They will deliver it to a man from the family of my House his name is the same as my name, and the name of his father is the same as my father, and he will fill the ground with fairness and justice.” (Abu Dawood, Al Hakim, At-Tirmizi, Ibn Hibban, Ibn Majhah, Au Ash-Shaykh, Ibn Adiy, Abu Dhabi, Ibn Asakir and Abu Nuaym)

The League

Prior to bringing about great changes on the planet earth, the Khwajagan Saints were known to penetrate all significant levels of society and cause first an internal change followed by an external change.  Inner circles of Islamic mystics hold that this has already begun to take place in major centers of power throughout the world under the spiritual influence of Muslim Saints.

The Grand Mufti of Turkish Cyprus and Qutb of the Naqshbandiyya declared this almost a decade ago while visiting Southeast Asia.  Khwaja Muhammad Nazim said in Sri Lanka,

“We know that this world is being prepared for huge appearances. In a short while there will be a common change, physically and then spiritually…I am knowing and you must believe that I have come on the order of the Divine Will. I have come on the command of the Prophet and of the Saints…I have not come to this place but to make Haq (truth) to be like the bright light of the sun.”

Professor Seyyed Hossein Nasr mentions a branch of Islamic mystics affiliated to the Khwajagan who secretly operate at the highest levels even in Al Azhar as a secret society of the Naqshbandiyya.  Al Azhar is the world’s oldest university and Sunni Islam’s foremost seat of learning.

In his foreword to the English translation of ‘Risala-yi Lubb al Lubab dar Sayr wa Suluk-i Ulu’l Albab’ (Kernel of the Kernel: Concerning the Wayfaring and Spiritual Journey of the People of Intellect) Professor Nasr writes, “…at Al Azhar university…there is a very secret branch of the Naqshbandiyya Order tailored especially for the ‘Ulema of that eminent Sunni centre of learning”.

It is for the task of bringing mankind closer to their spiritual stations and Realities; which will bring them closer to world peace, that the Muslim Saints have recently begun to show themselves and some of their spiritual powers to people throughout the world, something which was almost prohibited over the last two centuries, particularly after the demise of the Ottoman Caliphate in 1924.

These Saints are reaching out to all of the Sons of Adam, from East to West, to both men and women, Muhammadan and non-Muhammadan, Muslim and non-Muslim, to protect them and equip them spiritually for what is about to befall mankind at large.

The Last Stand

For these Saints, this is a last attempt to divert the major chastisement and curse which is about to befall mankind for their heedlessness towards the preservation of the environment, endangered species and their habitat, squandering of the world’s natural resources and most importantly; not caring for their fellow humans at large and the underprivileged from amongst them.

This universal disaster coming towards mankind, which will manifest itself as the third major world war, wherein so many people will be killed that according to the reports from the Hadith of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, ‘a bird flying over the corpses at such a time will fall dead due to the stench of the dead bodies and yet would not have crossed’ is drawing near.

The Khwajagan Saints have been deputed now to save mankind and pave the way for the establishment of justice and world peace between all Nations under universal heavenly principles of peace.

The Messenger of Allah gave mankind advice for such an era of tyranny and misery, urging them to find a member of his own family; who will be commissioned by the heavens with the power to save, restore and guide stating, “The Mahdi (Savior) is one of us; Ahlul Bayt” (Ibn Majah), “The Mahdi will be of my family, of the descendants of Fatima” (Abu Dawud)  and “The Hour will not occur until the ground has been filled with injustice and transgressions. Then, a man from the family of my House will come and fill it with fairness and justice just as it was filled by harm and oppression.”

To be safe themselves, mankind must arise from its slumber and distance itself from the oppression of oppressors.  They must pray for world peace and find heavenly persons who will enable them to be able to see the difference between oppression and freedom, loyalty and treachery, truth and deceit. They must connect themselves to heavenly people, the Saints, and learn from them as they are able to guide souls towards their heavenly stations and the obtainment of inner peace “For verily, in the remembrance of Allah hearts do find their rest.” [Quran:13:28].

The ranks of the Khwajagan include Sultan ul-Arifin Bayazid al-Bistami, Khwaja Yusuf Hamadani,Ghawth al Adham Shaykh ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani, Sayyid Amir Kulal, the Imam of the Naqshbandiyya; Khwaja Baha’uddin Shah Naqshband Muhammad al-Uwaisi al-Bukhari, and Imam Rabbani Mujadid Alf Thani Ahmad Sirhindi. Each Grand Master of the Tariqat i-Khwajagan attained the rank of Ghawth, meaning spiritual protector of mankind.  While each of these Masters had hundreds of deputies, they passed the mantle of complete succession in the Tariqat i-Khwajgan to only one major deputy.

Historically, the last absolute successor to the Masters of Wisdom prior to the major decline in the Golden Age of Islam in Mughal India and Ottoman Turkey was the Ghawth, Mawlana Khalid Baghdadi, who took the Great Secret of the Order out of India, to the Middle East, where he then transferred it to the Shaykh Isma’il Kurdi.  Under Shaykh Isma’il Kurdi the Secret of the Tariqat i-Khwajagan was transferred to Dagestan, from where it made its way to Sultan al-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh ‘Abd Allah al-Faiz ad-Dagestani, who passed it to Burhan l-Kurama Ghawthu l-Anam, Sultan ul-Awliya Khwaja Muhammad Nazim, who is also known as “Shaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani”.

Masters-of-Wisdom

We pray that in this era of unwanted wars and terrorism, men are able to recognize such men amongst them and through them, turn away from materialistic recklessness and reconnect their hearts with the Master and Masters of the Masters of Wisdom, in order to restore balance to the universe and bring about world peace.  Amen.

All Praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Universe. Peace and salutations be upon all of His Messengers from Adam on, including David, Solomon, Daniel, Jesus and the Seal of Prophets; Muhammad (honor and peace be upon them all and all of their families and descendents). Ameen
